This summer, Tokyo’s SPACE YUI gallery welcomes BLAST OFF, a solo exhibition by illustrator Wakana Yamazaki. On view from June 26 to July 5, 2025, the show invites visitors into the vibrant, imaginative world of Space People & Space Jet—a universe entirely of Yamazaki’s creation.
The exhibition features around 20 new and recent illustrations, alongside painted sofubi prototypes and a range of exclusive merchandise created just for the show. Known for her colorful, character-driven style, Yamazaki blurs the lines between pop, retro-futurism, and the surreal—creating work that’s both playful and sharply detailed.
The exhibition is open daily from 12pm- to 7pm. Admission is free.
