Vital Impacts launched an exclusive collection of limited edition prints from talented photographers with a deep commitment to conservation and the documentation of the natural world and our relationship to it in this vital time.
Among those photographers is Stephen Wilkes, who is well known for his Day To Night series which is over 10 years in the making and counting. Each image is painstakingly laboured over for months to depict the change of light and and composition of a scene throughout roughly a day of shooting.
Wilkes donated three photographs from the series to this sale, including Serengeti National Park, Tanzania, Old Faithful, Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming, and Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona, Day to Night, 2015.
