Gales
Named after pioneer of nursing, Florence Nightingale, Gales is a web series set in Baltimore City about black millennial nurses. Sophia drew inspiration from many sources including nursing history, textiles, and illustration.
The client wanted to focus on the duality of being black and creative while also being professional and powerful. It was important that the branding connected to its intended audience of young black women in the medical field. Sophia created an identity consisting of primary and alternate logos, color palette, and typography system.
