Was there a defining moment when illustration turned from a pastime to your career?
When I turned thirty and realized my life wasn’t a dress rehearsal, it’s live.

What's the first thing you do when you get a new client brief?
Look it over and remind myself not to get too attached to any one idea.

Early bird or a night owl?
Night owl for sure.

How do you work past a creative block?
After shamelessly running from it, I stick my head down and push through. It’s the only way.

How do you reward yourself when you finish a big project?
I usually pass out on the couch for few hours, and then run out of the house in search of daylight and adventure.

What's your absolute favorite piece of work you created in the past 12 months?
