GOO CHOKI PAR x New Balance x Running Shapes

New Balance Japan (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Shinichi Kubota) will be releasing a running apparel collection in collaboration with the design and art unit GOO CHOKI PAR on Saturday, September 13, 2025, to propose a new form of sport that combines art and running to not only existing runners but also those with a wide range of interests in art, fashion, and sports.

This collection was created with the concept of GOO CHOKI PAR visually exploring and rediscovering the primal movement of "running." His iconic "Running Shapes" and other artwork are boldly incorporated as all-over patterns and graphics onto T-shirts, tank tops, shorts, and more. While providing the functionality of running wear, the designs are pop and humorous, making them easy to incorporate into everyday styling. Through this collection, New Balance proposes a new way to enjoy running and fashion, combining functionality and design.

To commemorate the release, New Balance Run Hub Yoyogi Park will host an art exhibition titled "Running Shapes." In addition to the 10 artworks featured on the apparel, new works created specifically for the exhibition will be on display.
Additionally, to coincide with the release, pop-ups will be held simultaneously at and ST TOKYO, atmos Shinjuku, Beams Men Shibuya, and the niko and… Tokyo store, providing an opportunity to experience the world of the collection up close.

This apparel collection features graphics from "Running Shapes," an artwork created for New Balance by the design and art unit GOO CHOKI PAR. The collection includes short-sleeve T-shirts, singlets, shorts, and caps, all of which combine functionality for running with everyday fashion.
