'Silver Linings' for The New Yorker by Elinor Carucci

Elinor Carucci photographed women who've embraced transformation by letting their natural hair color grow during quarantine. Be it a form of kinship, act of vulnerability, or an appreciation of fluidity, these women have learned to come to terms with their true selves and inadvertently break beauty standards one strand at a time.
