Netflix's One Piece Promos

Netflix's live-action adaptation of Eiichiro Oda's beloved anime One Piece made quite a splash when it premiered on August 31st, quickly securing the title of Netflix's top-watched show globally — an achievement previously held by Wednesday and Stranger Things. We're excited to share how our cross-functional team helped Netflix (re)introduce the Straw Hat Crew to the world.

 

Marco Grob photographed teasers and key art posters, which rolled out globally from January until the grand launch.

 

ATRBUTE Creative Labs and the animation wizards at Rave Growl crafted an Infinite Zoom trailer for Netflix’s iconic digital billboard on LA's Sunset Boulevard. Drawing elements from Marco Grob’s photography and other first-look images, they wove together a series of layered stills that seamlessly guided fans through the center of the Straw Hats’ epic journey, revealing a number of fan-service Easter Eggs along the way.

A longer-form version was also created for social, utilizing a dramatic soundtrack and dynamic audio mix to further sink fans into the story. This piece generated over two million impressions and hundreds of thousands of engagements across platforms. 

 

Brad Ogbonna captured the cast on Netflix's press tour and for additional social promotion, continuing to build excitement in the lead up to premiere.
