James Dawe

James Dawe is a Visual Artist, based in London. Eclectic Postmodernism underpins his work through collage and digital manipulation. James' strengths lie in dramatic multi-layered compositions and an urge to experiment with new image making ideas.

After studying Illustration at the University of Brighton James went on to gain experience at creative agencies in London before embarking on his commercial illustration career.

James was part of a contemporary collage movement that defined a genre of illustration during the 2010s.

Notable projects include a quadriptych of covers for Bloomberg Businessweek's Year End issue, a Visual Identity for The British Fashion Council and most recently, a large in-store installation for Adidas' London Flagship store.
