Caitlin Cronenberg

After graduating from Ryerson University in 2006 with a degree in fashion design, Toronto-born Caitlin Cronenberg decided to shift direction and pursue a career in photography. 

Her work has since been featured in an assortment of publications including Vogue Italia, L’Uomo Vogue, W Magazine, Marie Claire, French Elle, Pulp, German Vanity Fair, 25 Magazine, Bullett, Elle Canada, Chatelaine, Hello! Canada, and Flare. Caitlin’s work has also been published in every major Canadian newspaper, as well as the New York Times, and she has shot the images for a number of international movie posters. In 2010 she completed and self-published her first book of photography, Poser. In 2018 her second book The Endings was published by Chronicle Books.

With her photography career in full bloom, Caitlin has also debuted as a director with a number of music videos, webisodes, and a video series for W Magazine. With many video projects coming up, she continues to explore the world of motion and storytelling. In addition to the video series, Caitlin also partnered with W Magazine to shoot a celebrity portrait series at TIFF for five years. For TIFF 2018, she partnered with PAPER Magazine. In 2016, Caitlin shot the cover and album art for Drake’s certified four-time platinum, Grammy award nominated, ‘Views’ record, cementing her as one of the most sought after shooters in Canada, and abroad.

In 2017 Caitlin won the Canadian Arts and Fashion Award for Image Maker of the Year.
