Jason Raish is a freelance illustrator based in New York City. He also teaches illustration at his alma mater, The Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT). He was born in Seoul, South Korea and came to the U.S. at the age of 3 and was raised in the forests of western New York State. In 2008 he went on a 6 year adventure living in Beijing, Tokyo, Seoul, Barcelona, London, and Paris, all while freelancing with old and new clients from around the world. Now you can find him in Park Slope Brooklyn, jogging around the park with his rescue husky, brewing beer, tending to his rooftop vegetable garden, cooking international foods, and dreaming of moving to Hawaii (his wife is from Honolulu). He secretly wishes he could exchange his art talent for jazz piano talent, or to be able to wail like Al Green. He’s a 2 time Society of Illustrators Silver Medal winner and his clients include: The Criterion Collection, Epic Games Fortnite, Wizards of the Coast, Wimbledon, Ralph Lauren, New York Times, Lucas Film, and more.
